Welcome! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Lou and I am the President and co-Founder of Historic Entertainment, Inc. We are a Florida not-for-profit community theater organization. Our members come from all walks of life and run the full gamut in ages. We are performers that specialize in period theater productions including (but not limited to) the works of William Shakespeare. We have performed at Renaissance/Medieval festivals, the Miami Bookfair, Villa Vizcaya, arts festivals and other venues throughout South Florida.

Members of Historic Entertainment are students, workers and retirees. We are open to anyone and everyone. All I ask is that you come to us with enthusiasm and a desire to meet fun, new people. As a member you will have the opportunity to learn sword fighting through our stage combat training classes, arts and crafts like how to make chainmail armor, period dances and songs and much more. I have always said that this is the kind of group that you get out much more than you put in.

Personally, I have gotten more from this than I ever expected. I have had the opportunity to entertain thousands of people and to learn new skills that have served me well. I have made lifelong friendships with magnificent and brilliant people. But, more importantly, I met my wife of ten years at our practices, so I owe my family to this group.

I am not making any promises, but I know you can meet some fascinating people, forge some new friendships, learn some new skills and, maybe, just maybe, you might have fun too.
